Spectrum Theory began as a simple experiment: how much of a complete track could be built from a single synthesizer? Created almost entirely within Serum 2, every synth, bass, texture, effect, and sound heard throughout the release was designed from the ground up without relying on external samples—with the only exception being vocal chops. What originally started as an audio demonstration for a preset pack evolved into a full Aetherrupt release, turning a sound-design exercise into something much bigger. Spectrum Theory is an exploration of just how far one instrument can be pushed when sound itself becomes the source material.
