Containment began as a technical test for ORIGAMI, an upcoming VST synthesizer developed by Aetherrupt under Melogic Creative Technologies. What started as an experiment to evaluate the synthesizer’s capabilities gradually evolved into a complete track. The majority of its sound design was created using ORIGAMI, supplemented by stock instruments, effects, and other production tools included with Logic Pro.

“DON’T NEED U.” is about the moment heartbreak stops feeling like loss and starts feeling like freedom. Built from the aftermath of someone walking out of your life, the track captures the anger, confusion, and eventual realization that you don’t need someone else to determine your worth. It’s not about pretending the relationship meant nothing—it’s about accepting that it did, letting it hurt, and choosing to move forward anyway. Heavy, emotional, and unapologetic, “DON’T NEED U.” turns the end of something personal into the beginning of something stronger.
Spectrum Theory began as a simple experiment: how much of a complete track could be built from a single synthesizer? Created almost entirely within Serum 2, every synth, bass, texture, effect, and sound heard throughout the release was designed from the ground up without relying on external samples—with the only exception being vocal chops. What originally started as an audio demonstration for a preset pack evolved into a full Aetherrupt release, turning a sound-design exercise into something much bigger. Spectrum Theory is an exploration of just how far one instrument can be pushed when sound itself becomes the source material.
The first Complete album by Aetherrupt, hand-crafted sound design mixed with vocal samples from various sources to provide a familiar feeling while giving you a push of adrenaline.
